Research and Artificial Intelligence for Western Health Medical Students

The Asian Medical Students' Exchange Program (AMSEP) is one of the flagship initiatives of the Asian Medical Students' Association (AMSA), one of the largest medical student organisations in the Asia-Pacific region. AMSEP aims to foster academic collaboration, professional development, and cross-cultural exchange by connecting medical students from different countries. This year, the AMSA Melbourne branch is hosting delegates from Taiwan and Malaysia as part of the inbound exchange program.

Who are the visitors?
The visiting delegates are medical students from multiple universities across Taiwan and Malaysia, comprising a mix of pre-clinical and clinical students. Many have a strong interest in clinical research, innovation, and emerging technologies in healthcare, and are eager to gain insight into Australia's medical and research landscape.

What do the delegates hope to gain?
Through this visit, delegates hope to gain a deeper understanding of Australia's approach to clinical research, innovation, and the integration of artificial intelligence into healthcare. They look forward to hearing the perspectives of Australian clinicians and researchers on the future of medicine, innovation, and career development within an increasingly technology-driven healthcare system.
