Congratulations to Shulei Ren

Shulei Ren, PhD student at the Baker Department of Cardiometabolic Health, has received the Master of Biomedical Science Best Research Project 2025 award from the University of Melbourne Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences' Melbourne Medical School.

Shulei completed his Master of Biomedical Science at the University of Melbourne in 2025  under the supervision of Professor Xiaowei Wang, Dr Cuong Viet Pham and Dr Mark Louis Vidallon. He is now pursuing his PhD at our Department supervised by Xiaowei and Dr Bangyan Xu.

Shulei's research focuses on developing mRNA-lipid nanoparticle therapies for cardiovascular disease, aiming to design and optimise formulations for targeted delivery and specific administration routes.
