Congratulations to Yuyang Song!

Congratulations to Yuyang Song on completing his PhD!

Yuyang has completed his PhD, titled  "From Recombinant Fusion Proteins to mRNA Therapeutics: Activation-Specific Platelet Targeting Strategies for Sustained Thromboprophylaxis with Preserved Haemostasis". Yuyang was supervised by Prof Xiaowei Wang, Dr Cuong Viet Pham and Prof Karlheinz Peter.

Says Prof Xiaowei Wang: "Yuyang’s PhD produced the first self-amplifying mRNA therapeutics paper from our lab, helping establish an important new direction for our research. This reflects not only the quality of the work, but also his persistence, resilience and determination to keep moving forward when the experiments were less cooperative than expected."
