Dr Brandon Carp discusses primary care innovation at Research Matters

Health entrepreneur, Dr Brandon Carp shares his insights on what practitioners can do to maximise their chance of commercialisation success.

Dr Brandon Carp gave an informative presentation on why clinician-led innovation matters. He posited that clinicians are uniquely positioned to identify and understand 'real' day-to-day clinical problems and have the ability to influence system-wide advancements. Using three case studies of GPs turned entrepreneurs, Brandon talked about how what channels and opportunities are available to GPs and researchers who are interested in taking a good idea and commercialising it.
