About Us
Centre for Excellence in Research Methods (CERM) is a supporting capacity in research design and biostatistics. Our goal is to enable higher quality research at Eastern Hill Academic Centre and the Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery.
The aims of CERM are:
- To offer expert advice on research methodology to medical researchers;
- To support medical researchers throughout the research process, from advice regarding enumeration of project aims, design of the project and materials, data analysis and manuscript development;
- To provide targeted teaching and training relevant to medical researchers;
- To develop innovative approaches in applied statistics.
