2026 Graham Burrows Travelling Scholarship Winners: Alfred Lo, Lieselotte Claes and Georgia Caruana

Congratulations to Alfred Lo, Lieselotte Claes and Georgia Caruana, who have all been awarded the 2026 Graham Burrows Travelling Scholarship, each earning a $3,000 grant.

This award was established in 2018, in honour of the late Professor Graham Burrows AO, distinguished mental-health clinician, researcher, mentor, and advocate. This scholarship supports PhD students in the Department of Psychiatry with the opportunity to present their research at an international meeting.

Alfred Lo will use his grant to present his research in the Organization for Human Brain Mapping (OHBM) 2026 Annual Meeting, which will take place from June 14 to 18 in Bordeaux, France.

Georgia Caruana will use this grant to attend and present at the annual International Society for Bipolar Disorders conference, hosted in Vancouver, Canada, in September this year.

Lieselotte Claes will use her grant to attend and present at the European Meeting of Human Fear Conditioning in Thessaloniki.
