Mindful to receive Department of Families Fairness and Housing funding

Mindful has received a second year of funding from Department of Families Fairness and Housing to continue supporting the provision of adult autism assessments across 6 Victorian Adult Mental Health services.

The project addresses a recognised unmet need for adult autism assessment through a co-ordinated delivery model led by Mindful. This innovative project includes teams supporting cohorts such as older age, borderline personality disorder and eating disorders.

There are also two research components to the project, one quantitative looking at diagnostic complexity; and one qualitative looking at consumer, family, and clinician experience of the assessment process.
