New Non-Award Course: Clinical Psychiatry
The Department of Psychiatry has recently obtained accreditation for a new non-award course called the Clinical Psychiatry Course.
This course is one of the first of its kind to be launched by our department, following an extensive consultation process with key stakeholders.
Designed primarily for future psychiatry trainees undertaking the RANZCP training program, the Clinical Psychiatry Course offers an accessible and affordable pathway that complements our existing programs. It will be delivered in a hybrid format, combining face-to-face and online learning to provide flexible access to high-quality teaching regardless of location.
While it serves as an alternative to the Master of Psychiatry, the non-award course maintains a strong clinical focus and meets all requirements to prepare trainees for excellence in psychiatric practice. The Master of Psychiatry, a flagship program of the department, will continue to offer a more comprehensive academic experience for students seeking in-depth learning and access to research modules.
