2025 Scholarship and Grant Opportunities

The Department of Psychiatry is excited to announce the launch of the 2025 rounds of the Graham Burrows Travelling Scholarship and the Nikolaos and Dimitra Pantelis Travelling Scholarship. Additionally, the EMCR Research Support Grant will to provide further opportunities for our early- and mid-career researchers.

Here’s everything you need to know:

Graham Burrows Travelling Scholarship

• Applications Open: 1 December 2024
• Applications Close: 27 January 2025
• Benefits: Three scholarships of $3,500 each will be awarded in 2025.
• How to Apply: Applications are to be submitted via the SmartyGrants application form.

Nikolaos and Dimitra Pantelis Travelling Scholarship

• Applications Open: 1 December 2024
• Applications Close: 27 January 2025
• Benefits: One scholarship of $3,500 will be awarded in 2025.
• How to Apply: Applications are to be submitted via the SmartyGrants application form.

EMCR Research Support Grant

• Applications open: 1 December 2024
• Applications close: 27 January 2025
• Benefits: One scholarship of $25,000 to support Level A, B and C early and mid career resarchers to support novel ideas or generate pilot data that will assist making external grant applications more competitive.
