MMS Diversity and Inclusion Working Group update

The MMS Diversity and Inclusion Working Group have been highlighting a number of initiatives and programs established across the university, to promote an inclusive and accessible environment for all staff and students.

See more information below on how you can get involved and support these initiatives, including training modules and informative podcasts available for all staff.

  • The Gahgook Indigenous Cultural Education Program (Core Compliance): The Gahgook all-staff program is dedicated cultural education designed specifically for University staff. This training is recorded in Workday as core compliance for all staff not identified in Workday as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. Participation is optional for First Nations staff.
  • Trans-Affirming Workplaces Training (Optional): Developed by the Pride in Action Network, this eLearning module is designed to help staff understand and uphold the University’s Gender Affirmation Policy. Access this module via TrainMe.
