Isaac Schweitzer Travelling Fellowship: Applications have reopened
Applications for the 2026 Isaac Schweitzer Travelling Fellowship have reopened (closing 11pm, Friday 27 March 2026).
The Isaac Schweitzer Travelling Fellowship was established in memory of Professor Isaac Schweitzer, with the support from the Healthscope's The Melbourne Clinic. This fellowship is offered to early-career researchers or psychiatrists, working in the field of psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry, providing the opportunity to travel overseas to undergo training or professional development to further their career in the field of psychiatry.
Eligibility Criteria:
The Fellowship is intended to support a psychiatry trainee or early career psychiatrist (within 3 years of gaining Fellowship), who is enrolled in a PhD or who has completed a PhD, providing the opportunity to travel overseas to undergo training or professional development to further their career in the field of psychiatry.
To be considered for this fellowship you must:
- Be a psychiatry trainee or early career psychiatrist who is enrolled in a PhD or who has completed a PhD
- Be a member of the Department of Psychiatry (all members are eligible to apply) and be seeking to develop your research skills
Application Details:
The Isaac Schweitzer Travelling Fellowship will offer three scholarships with each recipient being awarded $3,000.
