Farewell and Thank You to Toni Merritt

As many of you will now know, Toni Merritt finished up with the university last week after 19 years of service. During this time, she made a huge impact on both staff and students and will be greatly missed by all.

We would like to thank Toni for her hard work and contributions to the Department of Psychiatry over this time. We wish her all the best and success in her new role.

Here are just some of the messages to farewell Toni:

-  You’ve made such a big contribution to the DoP over so many years and you are going to be hugely missed!

-  You have been such a comforting and joyful presence for me, and I will always remember your kindness, warmth, and beautiful energy.

-  You are one of those rare people who makes others feel safe, seen, and cared for. Thank you for being such a genuinely wonderful human being.  

-  Wishing you the absolute best - I hope they know how lucky they are to have you.  

-  You have been an anchor, an incredibly efficient go-to expert, and the brightest part of the day.

-  We will all miss you and I especially will miss working closely with you. I have relied on you for so much, and so many have appreciated all your help. I am deeply grateful for your dedication, friendship and support.
