2026 BBRF Young Investigator Grant & BPA ECRN Travel Grant Winner: Dr Alec Jamieson

Congratulations to Dr Alec Jamieson, who received the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation (BBRF) Young Investigator Grant, providing support for the most promising young scientists conducting neurobiological research.

Alec will use this grant to examine brain mechanisms of antidepressant discontinuation to better disentangle withdrawal and relapse effects​.

Alec also received the Biological Psychiatry Australia (BPA) Early Career Researcher Network Travel Grant, providing funding to help him attend the NeuroAlliance Conference later this year.
