Xavier Morgan Schlicht

I am an MD4 student currently undertaking my MD Research Scholar project at the Western Health Department of Surgery where I am conducting a systematice review examining the association between body composition and chemotherapy-induced toxicity and surgical outcomes in pancreatic cancer.

Being a member of the department since 2024, I am throughly enjoying the many fantastic opportunities which I have been given. Highlights include the academic excellence, novel research, clinical opportunities and supportive culture boasted by the department.

I have benefited greatly from the ongoing supervision offered to me by Professor Justin Yeung and the other members of the Department whilst conducting research. I look forward to presenting our research findings within the Department and desseminating them to the wider medical community.
