Mark Killingback Conference Invite
The prize was established by the Section in 1995 to act as a catalyst to stimulate high quality research in colon and rectal surgery undertaken by Surgical Education and Training (SET) Trainees and Younger Fellows (within 10 years of receiving Fellowship).
Dr Yasser Arafat has been invited to present his research findings at the RACS Annual Scientific Congress in Adelaide, Australia, 2023 (May 3rd ). The title of his oral presentation is ‘The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) derived body composition to predict dose-limiting chemotherapy toxicities in colon cancer patients.’
He has also received a faculty invitation to speak on ‘Body composition analysis and health metrics’ at the AGES AAGL combined Focus Meeting 2023 (July 6-7, Bangkok) under the theme “The Modern Muse”.
