Welcome Dr Reshi Sithakaran to the MACH Track Program

I am really pleased to announce that Dr Reshi Suthakaran has been selected for next year's Melbourne Academic Centre for Health MACH Track program as part of his PhD with myself and his other co-supervisors.

Reshi was inspired to become a clinician-researcher to find meaningful ways to advance clinical practice through evidence-based medicine to ultimately improve patient outcomes.

He is interested in using artifical intelligence augmented tools to bridge the gaps of clinical practice in colorectal surgery. In particular, Reshi aims to improve the access, accuracy and delivery of high-resolution anoscopy to better detect precancerous lesions.

Well done Reshi and the rest of the team of excellent candidates.
