Paid Promotions

The summarized process for PAID promotions for 2026 is as follows:

LEVEL

Level B

Completed applications to be submitted via AC@M Dashboard to Professor Choong, Head of Department to review and action by 13 April.

Final Level B applications need to be submitted to HR via AC@M Dashboard by 11 May at 12noon

Level C

Completed applications to be submitted via AC@M Dashboard to Professor Choong, Head of Department to review and action by 27 April.

Final Level C applications need to be submitted to HR via AC@M Dashboard by 25 May at 12noon

Level D & E’s

(Need to be reviewed by the Academic Titles Committee hence the additional timeline)

  1. Discuss your intention to apply for promotion with your Precinct Lead prior to meeting with Professor Choong.
  2. Professor Choong would like to meet with all applicants applying for Level D and Level E prior to submitting your applications.  Your argued case must be prepared for this meeting. (Precinct EAs will be sending an email to applicants regarding this).
  3. Your application in a PDF format must be submitted to your Precinct EA by 27 March.
  4. Your EA will forward applications to the DOS Academic Titles Committee by 6 April for review before being assessed by Peter Choong.
  5. Feedback from the Academic Titles Committee is due by 27 April.
  6. Their feedback will be provided to Peter who will review and respond approx. by 30 April (he will adviseyou of any suggested changes to your application).
  7. You will need to submit via AC@M Dashboard to Peter Choong, Head of Department your final application by Monday 11 May – (Level E) and Monday 25 May (Level D).

Final Level D applications need to be submitted to HR via AC@M Dashboard by 20 June.

Final Level E applications need to be submitted to HR via AC@M Dashboard by 5 June.
