Increasing demand for Palliative care services care by a diverse patient population who are referred from a variety of sources means that patients must be triaged for allocation of limited clinical resources.

This PhD work explored the systems of wait listing for palliative care services including how these decisions are made and the implications for patients, families and practitioners of these decisions.
