MBCIU PhD student  Gihan Ruwanpathirana's work on harmonisation of Aβ-PET scanning between different scanners was presented  by Rob Williams at the 2023 ANZSNM Annual Scientific Meeting.  Aβ-PET scanning can assist in characterising Alzheimer's Disease however different scanners can produce different results. This work was successful in harmonising studies and may support multi-centre Aβ-PET trials along with enabling PET camera updates during longitudinal studies.
