Savige Research Group

Research Overview

The Savige group, led by Professor Judith Savige and based at Royal Melbourne Hospital, applies bioinformatics to study the population frequencies of common genetic diseases, including Monogenic diabetes, Lynch syndrome, CAKUT, Haematuria, Proteinuria, Atopic Dermatitis, and cardiomyopathies. We also examine how often unsuspected genetic disease occurs in the clinic, and genotype-phenotype correlations.
