2025 Graham Burrows Travelling Scholarship Winners: Dr Chiranth Bhagavan, Leah Hudson and Connie Tse
Congratulations to Dr Chiranth Bhagavan, Leah Hudson and Connie Tse, who have all been awarded the 2025 Graham Burrows Travelling Scholarship, each earning a $3,500 grant.
This award was established in 2018, in honour of the late Professor Graham Burrows AO, distinguished mental-health clinician, researcher, mentor, and advocate. This scholarship supports PhD students in the Department of Psychiatry with the opportunity to present their research at an international meeting.
Dr Chiranth Bhagavan will use his grant to attend and present key findings from his PhD studies thus far at the RANZCP Congress - RANZCP's premier annual, international scientific conference.
Leah Hudson plans to use her grant to attend and present her novel research at the June 2025 Organization for Human Brain Mapping (OHBM) conference in Brisbane, Australia.
Connie Tse plans to use her grant to attend the 2025 Society of Biological Psychiatry (SOBP) annual meeting in Toronto, as well as planning several lab visits with world-renowned researchers in psychiatry and brain neuromodulation research.
