The Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing Connect Event

On Wednesday 4 June, the first Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing Connect Event was held, with the Collaborative Centre Consortium bringing together all its partners. Special guest speakers included Associate Professor Jason Thompson and Dr Colin Gallagher, who spoke about people and systems and social networks. This was followed by a panel discussion with updates on key projects, as well as a session to discuss the annual work plan for the Consortium.

The Department of Psychiatry have been helping to support the research and academic aspects of the Collaborative Centre. The University of Melbourne Collaborative Centre Committee includes: Professor Kim Felmingham, Professor Rob Hester, Professor Jane Pirkis, A/Prof Samantha Loi, A/Prof Bridget Hamilton and Jacki Hill. As part of this work, they have created 3 internship graduate industry placements, 2 PhD scholarships and expressions of interest for systematic reviews for the Collaborative Centre's Knowledge Sharing Platform.
