Welcome to the Department, Associate Professor Jason Thompson and Branislava Godic!
We are thrilled to welcome Associate Professor Jason Thompson and Branislava Godic to the Department of Psychiatry, who transferred from the Faculty of Architecture, Building, and Planning.
Jason is an ARC Future Fellow and clinical psychologist with a PhD in Medicine. He specialises in computational modelling, particularly agent-based and systems dynamics modelling of cognitive processes, large-scale trauma, public health, healthcare, and compensation systems. His contributions have led to significant cost savings for the Victorian community while advancing outcomes for injured people. He also played a key role in the Victorian Government’s strategy for exiting its second COVID-19 wave.
Branislava Godic joins us as a Research Assistant and is currently pursuing a PhD on the role of modelling and evidence in policy making. Jason and Branislava can be found on Level 3 of the Alan Gilbert Building. Please join us in welcoming them to our vibrant community.
