Junior doctor teaching and mentorship program for medical students

The Department of Surgery in conjunction with the Western Clinical School has developed a novel teaching and mentorship program. Junior surgery trainees lead a program of 2 hour teaching each week for the MD2 surgery cohort of medical students at Western Health. This has been an online delivered initiative to help develop clinical skills during the period of reduced patient contact during the COVID-19 pandemic.
