About Us

Our Core Tools for Health Care Data Use

We have developed a variety of ethically sanctioned tools for your safe data use. The tools are fully endorsed and come with comprehensive technical assistance from our team.

  • GRHANITE

GRHANITE™ software enables seamless data collection for audit, clinical research, and health surveillance. It overcomes legal, ethical, organisational, and technical barriers, making it applicable in any data collection environment within Australia.

  • PATRON

The Patron program utilises GRHANITE™ software to collect and de-identify information from patient records in consenting general practice settings. Patients have the option to withdraw their data, and participating practices.

  • OMOP COMMON DATA MODEL

The standardised structure of the OMOP CDM promotes data interoperability and facilitates the development and validation of analytical methods and tools. It also supports the use of common vocabularies.

  • Future Health Today

Future Health Today is a collaboration between University of Melbourne and Western Health. It is a proactive digital health intervention that uses data from health records to automate the detection of chronic disease to provide new opportunities for early intervention and improved health outcomes.

GOVERNANCE, ETHICS, & SECURITY

Underpinned by strong ethical principles, transparency, and best practice data governance and security procedures.

DATA SECURITY

Our team are experts in cross-sectoral data capture, consent management, and privacy protecting record management. We employ internal best practice policies and procedures in our data warehousing and curation to 'future proof' against risk, and we adhere to all national legislation around privacy and data security. Our active risk mitigation strategies are regularly reviewed.
