Department of Psychiatry Welcomes

We’re thrilled to welcome some new faces to the Department of Psychiatry over the last few months.

A very warm welcome to our new DoP starters:

• Leo Chen, Associate Professor of Psychiatry at St Vincent’s Hospital

Leo is a psychiatrist, medical educator and neuroscientist, joining us from the Department of Psychiatry, School of Translational Medicine, Monash University where he served as Head and Principal Investigator of the Brain Stimulation Lab and Therapeutic Trials Unit. Read more about Leo Chen here.

• Tilly Tonkovic, Research Assistant

Tilly has had previous experience working on Phase 1 clinical trials, and was recently working on the PRESCIENT study at Orygen Youth Health. With the Department of Psychiatry, Tilly will be working as a Research Assistant on the Kite trial and the TREK study.
