CORE Study

The CORE Study is a world first trial aiming to build an evidence base about engagement in service re-design and psychosocial recovery concludes.

Since 2014, over 300 people living with severe mental illnesses, together with their carers and staff across Victoria, have generously shared their stories of service experiences and recovery for the CORE study.  CORE, led by Dr Victoria Palmer, has used this information to help understand personal recovery and facilitate services with people with lived experience and their carers, to shape service improvements.

A CORE Forum planned for 2018, will be an opportunity to celebrate and thank all study participants, research staff and everyone who helped make CORE a success. This will also be an opportunity for study participants to present briefly and share their experiences on the learnings and the final results published in late 2017/2018.
