How to measure fathers' wellbeing during childbirth? A qualitative Chilean-Australian study
The aim of this study is to explore the experience of childbirth from a male partner perspective, including their perceptions of social and healthcare provider support. From this, a scale will be developed that measures the level of wellbeing and satisfaction of the father during the process of childbirth. The final goal of the study is to gain a better understanding of the experience of childbirth from a male partner perspective with a view to raising awareness among healthcare professionals and the broader community of the father’s needs, and they can be better supported during childbirth in the future.
