Welcome Brett Vaughan: Lecturer in Clinical Education

The Department of Medical Education has welcomed some exciting new faces to our academic team over the last year.

Brett Vaughn

Brett Vaughan is a Lecturer in Clinical Education in the Department of Medical Education. Brett’s clinical background is in osteopathy, and he is undertaking a PhD in the evaluation of clinical educators at Victoria University. Brett continues to practise part-time as an osteopath, is involved with accreditation in osteopathy and nursing, and is an Associate Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Association for Health Professional Educators. In the DME, Brett is involved in the Masters of Clinical Education as part of the EXCITE program and he teaches in the suite of health professions’ education custom programs. His research interests include clinical education and assessment, and evaluation in the health professions.
