Dr Roxanne Hastie Awarded

A very big congratulations to Dr Roxanne Hastie who has been awarded three prestigious awards, the Norman A. Beischer PhD Prize in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, the Henry and Rachael Ackman Travelling Scholarship and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Science Research Fellowship.

Dr Hastie’s Norman A. Beischer PhD Prize in Obstetrics and Gynaecology: The NBMRF PhD prize will allow her to travel to Stellenbosch University in Cape Town, South Africa, where she has been invited to present the findings of her PhD to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in early 2019.

Dr Hastie received the Henry and Rachael Ackman Travelling Scholarship for Early Career Researchers which will support travel for two years and aid in her global research investigating eclampsia and preeclampsia with researchers in Cape Town, Sweden and Scotland.

Dr Hastie was also awarded the Early Career Science Research Fellowship from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Melbourne Medical School in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at The University of Melbourne.
