Dealing with long-term effects of cancer treatment

Professor Martha Hickey has visited Dublin to discuss long-term side effects of cancer treatment for women including infertility, early menopause and sexual problems.

Professor Hickey discussed how women are affected by cancer differently to men and highlighted innovative multidisciplinary clinics in Melbourne and Perth where women with different cancers can go to address a number of different symptoms.

While in Dublin, Professor Hickey presented a public lecture, was interviewed by the local media including the Irish Times, was filmed for a video by the Irish Cancer Society and met with the Australian Ambassador to Ireland.
