GR-Connect Mentoring Program

GR-Connect aims to connect current and former graduate research students, to facilitate a sense of belonging within the Department and to prepare our students for the future. Through this mentoring program, we aim to establish a concrete pathway for connection between our past students and current students, leading to further opportunities for both groups.

The GR-Connect mentoring program will pair interested current graduate research students with former students on a one-to-one basis. Pairings are based on research interests, career aspirations, experiences, and preferences for meeting arrangements. The commitment and frequency of meetings can be determined by each pair based on their individual requirements and external commitments. Towards the end of the year, we will invite you to take part in a short survey to evaluate how our mentoring program went.
