Conference presentation: An examination of a free, safer-sex program at the University of Melbourne: what worked and what did not

In February, PhD candidate Madeleine Lim, presented at the Australian Society for Psychosocial Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ASPOG) conference: Exploring the Tapestry of Psychosocial Obstetrics & Gynaecology in Adelaide. She presented the findings from her PhD research about what worked and what did not work in a free, safer-sex program at the University of Melbourne. The talk covered views from students who had used and had not used the program, and students’ suggestions on how the program can be improved. Her attendance was funded by the 2022 Melbourne Abroad Travelling Scholarship (MATS).
