CHIA Certification Pilot

The Centre for Health Analytics is piloting a fully funded CHIA certification program for a limited number of candidates who are looking to certify their skills and competencies in health informatics.

CHIA certification indicates to colleagues and employers that individuals have acknowledged core and up-to-date knowledge and understanding of health informatics.

Are you interested in becoming CHIA certified?    

We are now accepting expressions of interest for the CHIA certification program offered by AIDH.  You will be part of our pilot program and we will support you to become CHIA certified.  We will fund the cost of certification, support you with study groups and provide an experienced mentor to help you prepare for the exam.

The certification program is open for a limited number of campus staff who are looking to certify their skills and competencies in health informatics.  The closing date for the pilot program is Friday 13 August 2021.

Who is CHIA for?

Health Informaticians, Data Analysts, IT/EMR Specialists, Clinicians, Administration, and Executives.

Health informaticians are professionals who work across health data and information systems and have requisite skills and knowledge across six connected yet unique domains. The work at the intersection of healthcare and information technology, across a vast range of delivery models and settings.
