Klerman Young Investigator Award 2020

Congratulations to Dr  Tamsyn Van Rheenen  who was selected as the recipient of the 2020 Gerald L Klerman Young Investigator Award to be presented at the National Network of Depression Centers Conference Awards Ceremony in September 2021.

The Gerald L. Klerman Award is the highest honor that the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) gives to members of the scientific community. Presented each year, this award recognizes researchers whose work advances knowledge of the causes, diagnosis, and treatment of depression and bipolar disorder. Up to two awards are given annually in each of the following two categories: DBSA Gerald L. Klerman Award, Senior Investigator and DBSA Gerald L. Klerman Award, Young Investigator.

Dr Van Rheenen is an exceptional early career researcher who is currently supported by a prestigious National Health and Medical Research Fellowship in the Department of Psychiatry at The University of Melbourne.
