Momeneh Foroutan is the winner of the best PhD publication for 2017 across the Department of Surgery in the Melbourne Medical School.

Momeneh is located at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute, and her publication entitled ‘A Transcriptional Program for Detecting TBFb-Induced EMT in Cancer’ was published in Molecular Cancer Research.
She will be presented with her prize of $1000 at the next Department of Surgery Meeting later in the year by the Head of Department, Professor Andrew H. Kaye.
