Health Data Science for Medical Research

GooD4Mum

GooD4Mum provides education, resources and support to general practices through Quality Improvement Collaborative methodologies including Plan-Do-Study-Act cycles [10], to provide clinical guideline concordant [11, 12]education, resources [13] and interactive peer-to-peer and peer-to-expert learning workshops to support GPs’ behavioural change toward optimising proactive chronic disease prevention for women who have had gestational diabetes. Not all GPs or other clinicians at participating practices need to be involved, but the more the better. The current GooD4Mum Quality Improvement Collaborative program is an updated version of the pilot [14]. The GooD4Mum research study will compare outcomes from general practices that are participating in the GooD4Mum Collaborative program with passive ‘de-identified data-only’ control practices, to strengthen the evidence base for the GooD4Mum program – a step toward program scale-up.
